Mathematics Program

For us, mathematics is a way to teach thinking.

Our proprietary mathematics curriculum was developed for us by Prof. Wojciech Guzicki. We implement it under the patronage of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Warsaw.

It is complemented by mathematics camps and scientific projects, such as “Mathematics in Gothic Architecture.”

Thanks to these activities, we are the eighth school in Poland in terms of the number of finalists in the National Mathematical Olympiad for Middle School Students.

Since the 2017/18 school year, we have been implementing the mathematics program from the first grade of primary school. The concept of teaching mathematics in grades 1-3 was developed by a team of mathematics teachers led by Prof. Wojciech Guzicki. Children are diagnosed for the development of operational thinking and then divided into groups. In each primary school class, two teachers teach mathematics.

Our Scholarship Holders

Selected 8th-grade students in the 2018/2019 school year received scholarships as part of the Mazovian Scholarship Program for exceptionally talented students – the best investment in people. Each of them worked throughout the year on an individual educational development plan for the student under the supervision of Ms. Adrianna Żołnierczuk. The results of their work are Polish-English collections of challenging problems with solutions, which can serve as extraordinary academic support for students interested in serious mathematical development:

English-language collection of Polish pre-Olympiad problems with solutions – Weronika Myśliwiec

Polish-English collection of problems with solutions: Fundamentals of Mathematical Analysis / Basis of Mathematical Analysis – Daniela Spurtacz

English-language collection of Polish pre-Olympiad problems with solutions – Helena Boguta
