A weakness of the education system is the limitation of students’ independence in acquiring knowledge and taking responsibility for this process.

For the past three years, we have been implementing a self-directed learning system in the upper grades. Its purpose is to make the school a place where students are not merely taught, but can acquire knowledge independently, though under the guidance of a tutor.
